Notes |
This is an 80 minute compilation from the original recording by Cuztard Pi, titled "Jeff Finally Speaks". It was intended to be put out as a double album with a split after "Voyage Home", but only the first album survived. The last 5 tracks disappeared in cyberspace. This "Highlights" version includes these final tracks.
The show lasted just over 100 mins, so 5 tracks were removed to fit onto an 80 min CD. The full set is listed below, with an asterisk marking the removed tracks.
The original full set was found on a Canadian website, shortly after the show, but soon disappeared. Cuztard Pi did a great job with this show, and Jeff was on great form (apart from one bum note on The Pump). Well, he had just celebrated his 60th birthday.
Cuztard's original notes are listed below, which show how he recorded and mastered it. He labelled a few tracks incorrectly, but we'll forgive him, as he did such a great job. Artwork is also included for the CD jewel box.
Jeff is still one of the greatest guitarists the UK has produced. Over the last 40 years he has adapted his music to reflect the current trend, but his unique sound makes him recognizable from a single note.
