NOTE: This tree is a "work in progress". Many of the notes are incomplete and some links will not work correctly, especially when inside a Scrapbook. I still have much data to add and apologise to those contributors whose information has not yet been added. My sincere thanks to all.I have tried to verify as much information as possible but errors may exist or conflict with other sources. Individuals with uncertain details have a (See Notes) label attached to their name.

Edgar W. Fripp, 74, Dies Sunday Morning Edgar Walter Fripp, 74, of Burton, died Sunday morning in a local hospital after a long illness.
Mr. Fripp was formerly of Okatee Plantation in lower Beaufort County. He was a grandson of John E. Fripp of Fripp Plantation, St. Helena Island, where he was born.
Mr. Fripp was a retired seed and feed store clerk.
He was a graduate of Porter Military Academy in Charleston, a member of the Beaufort National Guard company, a member of the Episcopal Church and a Mason.
Funeral services were held Tuesday in the St. Helena Episcopal Church with the Re. Charles Danner officiating. Burial followed in the Evergreen Cemetery with Anderson-Green in charge.
Survivors include the widow, the former Mary Dougan of Savannah; three sons, Major Edgar W. Fripp USA ret., of Mi-Wuk Village, California, Richard (Dick) Fripp of Concord, California, and Harold M. Fripp of Clinton.
